China

This was a short two week visit to China, specifically – Beijing, Shanghai and Dong Xing. We also visited Ha Long Bay in Vietnam and also Hong Kong for a few nights.

I have only really been on one family trip and that was almost 5 years ago in Taiwan. It's also been about 20 years since I lasted visited my grandparents in China. So my mum, sister and auntie all went to Dong Xing to the village to where my parents grew up and visit my Mum's parents.

Dong Xing is right on the border of Vietnam and China, and so it is a melting pot for trade.
