Story
In 1986, Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant released more radiation than an atomic bomb. The explosion at Reactor 4 leaked radioactive fumes for two weeks and took seven months to build a concrete shelter over the reactor. Many lives were lost and remnants of the disaster still linger everyday in Ukrainian life.
In April 2017, I paid a visit to Chernobyl with SoloEast for some rare urban exploring around one the world's worst nuclear disasters.
